Please be assured that whilst your cats are staying at Cattery21 they are of paramount importance to us. We like all our customers to be able to go away knowing their cats are safe and well cared for, in a loving environment. Please help us to keep it that way by carefully reading and following our terms and conditions. You will be asked to sign to say you have read and agree these upon booking.
- Cats will not be admitted without proof of an up to date vaccination record. An up-to-date veterinary vaccination record must be seen to ensure that cats have current vaccinations against feline parvovirus also known as feline infectious enteritis, feline panleukopenia and against feline respiratory viruses (feline herpesvirus and feline calicivirus).
Certification from a veterinarian of a recent protective titre test will be accepted instead of a booster vaccination. The certificate must state that it is valid for the current period.
- All cats boarded to have evidence of monthly/4 weekly treatment for fleas having had a treatment within the month prior to their stay. Cats arriving with Fleas will be treated and an additional charge of £50.00 per cat will be made to cover the cost of treatment and deep cleaning of the environment required.
- All cats boarded to have been wormed with a broad-based Worming treatment (which includes treatment for both tapeworm and roundworm) within the month prior to admission.
- A condition of boarding is that your cat is in a fit and healthy condition. However if they were to fall ill whilst with us they will be covered by our insurance up to the policy maximum.
- Veterinary bills incurred through unrelated or pre-existing conditions, diagnosed or not, including stress related conditions will be the responsibility of the owner and owner's current insurance cover. Cats will be treated at Cattery21's chosen Veterinary provider and/or their appointed out -of-hours provision, unless otherwise instructed.
- Louise Baker (owner and licence holder of Cattery21) or a designated representative of Cattery21 will administer any prescribed medication or treatment during a cats stay at Cattery21.
- Cats that are sharing will be separated for their health or wellbeing should the need arise and additional costs for a separate cabin will be payable (£10 per day).
- Cats are boarded at the sole risk of their owners and whilst every care will be taken, the management cannot be liable for illness, injury or death of any animal in their care.
- We will ask you to let us know arrangements in the unlikely but sad event of your cat dying during its stay with us so that your wishes can be respected.
- Additional charges will be made for late collection (£10 per day)
- In the unfortunate event that any cat is not collected within 14 days of the date on which they are due to depart, and where no communication with the owner or contact persons has been made, they will be re-homed at the discretion of Cattery21.
